This clip (http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=2I0QN-FYkpw) has some guy saying America was in trouble in 2006 and 2007, but the other experts on TV didn’t agree with him.
It seems like people knew the tidal wave was coming, but they wanted to pretend that it wasn’t coming because it would be too inconvenient to move out of the way. I hope we learn from this. Still, I heard on the radio yesterday an advertisement from Harvey Norman - no interest, no repayments, nothing to pay until 2010! Perhaps we haven’t learnt anything…
