Tales of the Talking Tiger

Cats have nine lives, or so the saying goes. What if you had 9 lives? Would you live any differently? An ad on the radio at the moment suggests that one life could be spent watching the cricket, another life at the beach, etc. Not a bad idea – if you know you’ve got nine lives you can live the first eight how you want, and then get serious (whatever that means) for your final life.

The thing is, we don’t have nine lives. We don’t even have two. We’ve got one. You are currently living your final life.

So how does the fact you only have one life, a life that could end at any moment, impact how you live?
