An order of gay nuns have held their annual Hunky Jesus competition in San Francisco.

Hunky Jesus Competition Since 1979 the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have held the competition, encouraging people to dress up (or down) as Jesus. I don’t know how anyone can dress as Jesus when no one actually knows what he looked like in human form. Perhaps they should call it the ‘let’s try and imagine what Jesus would have looked like’ competition.

The competition photo gallery on SMH is weird. The history (or ‘Sistory‘ as they call it) of the order is one of the wackiest pieces of writing you’ll come across.
